We are a nonprofit that raises awareness & funds for families affected by a bleeding disorder through music-inspired events
At Music for the Cause, we are driven by a single goal:
to do our part in making the world a better place. Having hemophilia (a rare bleeding disorder) in our own family, we know first hand what life can be like with a rare health condition.
This reality gives us the unique perspective to understand and have empathy for those walking that tough road and we are inspired to do all we can to help those affected in a meaningful way.
We strive to bring big, exciting, bright events into our community using music as a platform, to raise awareness and funds for those who need it the most. With our hearts on our sleeve, we work to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

“On behalf of our entire team and the patients we serve, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the generous grocery gift cards and Walmart card you provided during the holidays through Music for the Cause.
Our patient population is incredibly vulnerable, and your thoughtful gesture brought immense joy and relief to many. The gift cards not only helped meet essential needs but also lifted spirits during a challenging time. The patients were deeply touched by your kindness and are profoundly thankful for your support.”
“This message is for the angel of a lady who has blessed my family beyond compare this holiday season!! I appreciate this blessing more than you will ever know! I haven't been in the holiday spirit at all because of our situation and not personally being able to do anything about it! So, thank you, this blessing couldn't have come at a better time! A $500 Walmart card may not seem like much to many but to us it was everything. I hope you and your family have a most wonderful and blessed holiday season yourselves. I know my family of 11 will absolutely have a wonderful holiday because of you!
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
God Bless You, Music For The Cause”
“I just wanted to reach out and thank the foundation that gave me the grocery cards. My baby was in the hospital for the past two weeks. I could not work and do not get paid when I am not there. I had no idea what we were going to eat for Christmas. Then you called and said someone had blessed us through you. You have no idea how much I needed it. I was able to get not only a meal for Christmas but food for the entire week. When I tried to call the food bank, they didn’t have anything for us so I’m not sure what we would’ve eaten. Please pass on my word of thanks to Music For The Cause”
“I just wanted to tell you, those grocery gift cards really came in handy. I’m not sure if you know, but my husband passed away on the 21st. He’s been in hospice care these past few weeks and I’ve just been here taking care of him and so depressed. When you dropped those cards off to me, it was a little light which I hadn’t felt in months. When I get myself together, I plan on donating to Music For The Cause, who gave to me, and they don’t even know me. I appreciate it so much.”
“I had to take time to thank you. Please pass this on to the wonderful lady with Music For The Cause that gave us the Walmart gift card. That $500 allowed us to buy presents for the five kids along with Christmas dinner and medication that I needed. I have been so stressed. Trying to figure out how I can make all of this happen. I want you to know I was on top of all my bills before I got sick. I’m slowly catching up but the fact that I was able to give my kids a wonderful Christmas was everything to me and it just wouldn’t have happened without those cards. Music for The Cause thank you thank you thank you!”
“Thank you and your foundation, Music For The Cause, once again for your generosity and for making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Happy New Year,
Denise

It was such a pleasure to be able to raise awareness for bleeding disorders on Good Day Sacramento!
We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to host multiple national songwriting competitions! A big thank you to Octapharma and our partners in Nashville for making big dreams come true.
